The Role
We’re hiring a Machine Learning Research Engineer to join a small, world-class team building cutting-edge ML solutions from first principles. This is not your average "data science" role. You will design, train, and implement machine learning models—end-to-end—and your ability to think deeply, work independently, and deliver real solutions will define your success.

Job Scope
Develop, train, and implement ML/DL models from scratch
Own the full research-to-production pipeline (not just notebooks)
Solve new, complex problems using the best tools for the job—no legacy baggage
Think creatively about architecture, optimization, evaluation, and deployment
Collaborate with a small, highly competent team with diverse academic and industry backgrounds
Operate independently and take ownership of real-world systems from day one
Ideal Candidate
Deep theoretical knowledge in statistics, mathematics, and machine learning
Hands-on experience training and evaluating custom models (not just using libraries)
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, etc.)
Comfortable navigating uncertainty, open-ended problems, and full-stack ML systems
PhD or equivalent research-level experience in ML, physics, mathematics, or similar
Publications in respected journals/conferences are a plus
Fluent in English
Willing to work onsite (no remote)

6 months: You’re solving hard problems that didn’t have obvious solutions
12 months: You’re a core part of our technical foundation—and helping define where we go next
