The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer who thrives on hands-on development, technical mentorship, and clear communication. You’ll be a key contributor to both system architecture and daily development, helping shape embedded solutions from scratch while guiding and uplifting a growing team. This is a role for someone who wants impact, influence, and variety—not just another product cycle.

Job Scope
Design and implement embedded software solutions (C/C++)
Act as a sparring partner and mentor for a team of four embedded developers
Guide software architecture and best practices
Collaborate closely with hardware developers—same room, different teams
Help scope and deliver 2–3 product projects per year
Make smart, well-founded decisions with a high degree of technical freedom
Participate in a flat, founder-led environment with direct access to leadership
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of embedded software experience
Strong in system-level thinking, architecture, and software design
Proficient in C/C++, real-time systems, and embedded protocols (I2C, SPI, UART etc.)
Familiar with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and/or embedded Linux
Hands-on debugging skills (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, etc.)
Background in Computer Science preferred; Electrical Engineering also welcome
Enjoys supporting younger engineers and elevating team capability
Strong communicator with a natural mentoring mindset
Danish not required, but on-site work is – this is a collaborative, creative office
Bonus Skills
Experience with low-power embedded systems
Familiarity with safety-critical systems or regulated product environments
Interest in becoming team lead or solution architect down the line
