Role Summary
We are seeking an Automation and Software Engineer to define, program, and continuously improve standardized PLC process control systems. As part of a small, skilled team, you’ll collaborate with multiple departments to enhance process efficiency and contribute to experimental R&D projects, ensuring the company remains a leader in sustainable technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Define, program, and document improvements and add-ons to standardized process control and user interfaces.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Process Engineering, Commissioning, and Aftermarket Service teams to enhance control systems.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide remote support for site personnel and travel to customer sites as needed for troubleshooting and development.
- R&D Contribution: Participate in programming experimental test rigs for research and development projects.
Qualifications:
- Background in automation, such as Automation Engineer or a similar field.
- Experience with Siemens Step7 / TIA programming.
- Knowledge of industrial process plants, ideally thermal processing plants and burner controls.
- Experience with hardware and software design is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (Danish is an advantage).
